Privacy Policy

1. What data we collect

• Name, email address and phone number, when you request a quote or contact us
• Postcode and desired date for the job
• Photos of the job or your home, only if you choose to upload them in the quote form
• The job description you provide
• Technical data (such as IP address) processed by Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam and abuse of the form

2. Why we use this data

• To prepare and share a quote with you
• To contact you about your request
• To carry out the agreed service and issue invoices
• Photos are used only to assess the job in advance, never for any other purpose

3. Legal basis

We process your data because it is necessary for the performance of a contract, or to take steps at your request prior to entering into one (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For spam and abuse protection via Cloudflare Turnstile, we rely on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Who we share your data with

We never sell your data to third parties. We share data with:

• The klusser – the independent professional from our network we match your request to. We share your name, job address, phone number, email address, job description and any photos you attach, solely so they can assess, quote and carry out the job. This disclosure is based on the performance of (pre-contractual steps for) a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• FormSubmit – processes your quote request and forwards it to our email address
• Cloudflare – hosting, CDN, and the Turnstile captcha for spam protection

Klussen Fixer is the intermediary and data controller for the data you submit through the quote form. Once the klusser receives your contact details to assess and carry out the job, the klusser becomes an independent data controller for that execution, invoicing, and direct communication with you. Questions about how the klusser processes your data afterwards should be directed to the klusser directly.

5. Retention period

We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected for. Quote requests that do not lead to a job are kept for a maximum of 2 years. Data that forms part of our financial records (invoices) is kept for 7 years, in line with Dutch statutory tax retention requirements.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we process about you
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to processing
• Data portability

To exercise any of these rights, email[email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with theDutch Data Protection Authority.

7. Cookies

On your first visit we ask for consent via a cookie banner, with equally prominent "Accept" and "Reject" buttons. We distinguish three categories:

• Necessary – always active, including Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the quote form against spam. No consent is required for these.
• Analytics – not currently in use. Will only be set once you give consent.
• Marketing – not currently in use. Will only be set once you give consent.
