1. Applicability and Klussen Fixer's role

Klussen Fixer (Chamber of Commerce/KVK 71542345, VAT NL002507239B32), located at Diligencehof 27, Purmerend, hereinafter "Klussen Fixer", is an online platform that connects customers with independent professionals ("klussers") in their region. Klussen Fixer acts as an intermediary and does not carry out the requested job itself: the agreement for performing the job is formed between the customer and the klusser who carries out the job. These terms and conditions apply to use of the platform and to quote requests submitted by the customer.

2. Quotes

Once we receive your quote request, Klussen Fixer connects you free of charge with a suitable klusser from our network. The quote you receive is based on the information and photos you provided, is non-binding and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. If the situation on site differs, you will receive an adjusted price for approval before work continues.

3. Rates and payment

• Klussen Fixer applies an all-in hourly rate of €45.50 per hour across its network, VAT included and materials excluded, unless agreed otherwise.
• Payment is made directly between customer and klusser, within 14 days of the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise. Klussen Fixer does not collect, hold, or manage payments on behalf of either party (no third-party/escrow funds) and is not a party to the payment.
• Requesting a quote and Klussen Fixer's intermediary service are free of charge for the customer.
• For emergency jobs, the klusser may request payment on site.

4. Cancellation and rescheduling

• The appointment for the job is made directly with the klusser; cancel or reschedule directly with them.
• Regular appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.
• Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may be charged 50% of the agreed rate by the klusser.
• Given their nature, emergency jobs can no longer be cancelled free of charge once the klusser is on the way.

5. Performance of the work

The klusser carries out the agreed work professionally and within the agreed timeframe. In the event of unforeseen circumstances during execution (such as hidden defects), the klusser will inform the customer as soon as possible and, if necessary, provide an adjusted quote before additional work is carried out.

6. Warranty

Completed work carries a 6-month warranty on material and workmanship defects attributable to the execution, provided by the klusser who carried out the job, unless stated otherwise on the invoice. The warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper use, normal wear, or work carried out by third parties after completion.

7. Liability

Klussen Fixer only works with klussers who carry professional liability (AVB) and construction all-risk (CAR) insurance. Liability for damage arising during the performance of the job lies with the klusser who carried out the job and their insurance. Klussen Fixer's own liability is limited to its role as intermediary and does not extend to the quality or execution of the work by the klusser. Klussen Fixer is not liable for indirect or consequential damage.

8. Complaints

Complaints about the work performed must be reported in writing within 7 days of completion via[email protected]. Klussen Fixer mediates between the customer and the klusser to resolve the complaint and will respond within 5 business days.

10. Governing law

All agreements with Klussen Fixer are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Klussen Fixer is established.
